Declassified And Ratified personal

An Unbiased Government Documents Search Engine

Declassified and Ratified serves as a search engine focused on Government Documents and information. I strived to create something that helps connect citizens to the documents that govern them. The site searches over 10,000 URLs that provide useful, timely, citizen-centered government information and services. We deliver unbiased content, simply providing a filtered access to government based information. It is on the web and has a mobile iOS app.

SHPID professional

Mobile E-Commerce

SHPID Is a system to manage the Student ID Cards for students at Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton. Student IDs, attached to a barcode, are used by the school for the purchase of food in the cafeteria (tied to an epicurean account), the checking out of books in the library, the entrance into school functions, and more. Much of student life is controlled by each student’s unique Student ID and its card. To prevent students from not having the card, I decided to create SHPID, allowing students to use their card on their mobile phone in a secure, convenient, and fast way.

Steganography

Steganography is the practice of concealing a file, message, image, or video within another file, message, image, or video. Picryption is a Stenography service that allows the hiding of content inside images through several methods. The advantage of steganography over cryptography alone is that the intended secret message does not attract attention to itself as an object of scrutiny. Plainly visible encrypted messages—no matter how unbreakable—arouse interest, and may in themselves be incriminating in countries where encryption is illegal. Thus, whereas cryptography is the practice of protecting the contents of a message alone, steganography is concerned with concealing the fact that a secret message is being sent, as well as concealing the contents of the message.

Logos personal

RPN Graphing Calculator

LOGOS is a graphing calculator for iOS that operates using Reverse Polish Notation, a mathematical notation in which every operator follows its respective operands, and one that I am partial to. LOGOS fully supports graphing, numerical calculus, functional calculation, and many other features not found on other RPN calculators but usually exclusive PN calculators like the Texas Instrument series. LOGOS is written in Swift 2.0, follows MVC, has a front-end designed in the interface builder of xcode, and has been published in the Apple App Store. It is avaliable for FREE now.

BIKE FOR SFYC professional

Charity Web Development

I made bikeForSFYC.com for two rising Seniors at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, California. They biked from San Francisco, CA, to Vancouver, British Columbia, during the summer to raise money for St. Francis of Assisi Youth Club in East Palo Alto, California. We will bike approximately 1,000 miles. Now you may be wondering what exactly would inspire four kids to spend their last summer in high school hauling themselves across the Pacific Coast, and the answer is simple– we all love the outdoors and really feel passionate about the Youth Club.

I have made a way to encode images with messages by changing the RGB values of the pixels of the image to be binary based on the even or odd nature of the color. This binary can be read as a string, and similarly any iamge can have a string written into it by tweaking slgihtly the colors of each pixel to match the binary representation of the string to later be read back. Presenting A Directory in PHP

By Dylan Modesitt

In my opinion, WordPress, anchor, ghost, and anything of the like of far too over-thought, and over-coded. I wanted to create a simple blogging solution. I manage this personal blog with some simple PHP that relies on some very basic ideals. I want full power over my posts; I want them to be html pages that I create without any hindrance to their styling and appearance. In reality, I just wanted an automatic way to sort through a directory that I deemed as the location of all my content, and display every file in that directory in a ‘blogesc’ fashion. I did so with the following code:

The Third Iteration of Capital

By Dylan Modesitt

Tim Berners-Lee, a lead scientist at Cern, created the World Wide Web in 1989 as a simple way to share data among scientists. Today, more than 2 billion individuals use it regularly, Google indexes more than a trillion URLs, 500 million tweets are sent out daily, one million babies have been born from people who met on Match.com, Apple is the world's most valuable company, and it is overwhelmingly apparent how the internet has fundamentally changed the way human beings interact.
